As a final assignment at Juilliard’s Advanced Orchestration course, I have to orchestrate a piece originally composed for the piano.
New EP – Heretics
My new release is the song “Heretics”. Written in 2010 after the second verdict in the case of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, it found a second wind thanks to the Animars Studio. Finally, 10 years later I came back to this song and recorded a decent Studio version. Cover by Nicolas Belov
Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra
The concerto was premiered on September 5, 1932, and was played by Poulenc, the French pianist Jacques Fevrier with the La Scala orchestra which at the time was directed by Toscanini.
